Ethical Business
Enjenta believes in an ethical business model. What this means to us as a company is:
Honesty and integrity in our business dealings - Our dealings with customers should be of the highest ethical standards. That all work should be carried out to our own high internal principles that provide our customers with a guarantee of quality. That we don’t just pay lip service to the old adage that “the customer is always right”.
Environmental awareness - That we try and have a minimal impact on our environment by working towards a paperless office, cutting out unnecessary waste, considering the environmental impact of our travel and purchasing supplies from ethical sources.
Employee stakeholding - That our employees should benefit directly from the success of the company. Every employee of Enjenta is a shareholder with a direct stake in our success. A significant percentage of our profits is paid directly back to the staff each year.
Philanthropy - That we should benefit the local, national and international community through philanthropic works. A percentage of the company’s profit is given to charities on an annual basis and employees are allotted paid time to work with charitable organisations.
Keep an eye on this page for details of some of the work we’re involved in. If you’re also interested in supporting any of the organisations listed here, drop an email to pippa@enjenta.com.
Charities Discount Scheme
The Jemini Social Support Engine is available to charities and NGOs at a reduced cost based on size and scope of the implementation. If you run a charity or NGO and are interested in adding a support community to your site why not drop us a line at info@enjenta.com.
Current Projects
The World Wildlife Fund UK
Enjenta is proud to be a member of WWF-UK's Business Club a community of enterprises who are supporting WWF-UK's urgent work. By joining WWF's Business Club, Enjenta is raising vital funds to help WWF's mission to build a future where people live in harmony with nature by conserving biological diversity, promoting sustainable use of natural resources, reducing wasteful consumption, cutting pollution and carbon emissions. Find out more about WWF's work.
In particular Enjenta is taking an interest in the conservation of arctic polar bears. A combination of past overhunting and habitat erosion due to global warming and the receeding ice pack is threatening the survival of the arctic polar bear. It's Enjeta's aim to become increasingly involved in this project both monetarily and substantively. Read more about the arctic polar bear on our polar bear page.
